Kindergarten at Lamb of God

At Lamb of God we believe that a positive Kindergarten experience is essential for future academic success.  More importantly, we believe that a strong Christian foundation is essential for building strong character in our future leaders.  Lamb of God offers a well balanced curriculum in both areas.

Mrs. Peterson, our Kindergarten teacher, taught for several years in the public school system, before she joined the private sector.  She does an excellent job of integrating our campus wide Bob Jones Academic Curriculum with her public school experiences.  Reading and math are the primary focus of our Kindergarten program, but our students also get a daily dose of religion, vocabulary, handwriting, science and social studies.

Special learning opportunities for our Kindergarteners include Chapel, P.E., Music, Spanish and Computer once a week.

What sets us apart from public school?

  • Our school provides a Christian atmosphere and curriculum
  • Low student-to-teacher ratios, more one-on-one attention for your child
  • Two field trips each school year to encourage learning outside of the classroom
  • Two service trips each school year to promote serving and caring for others

Parent Testimonials
My daughter started at Lamb of God for Pre-Kindergarten. It was very fun, friendly and a very loving environment! They always took advantage of their time well and enjoyed the outdoors just as much as being indoors.  My daughter was always kept busy with special projects as well as daily lessons; she grew so much in that year. Then she continued on to Kindergarten class with Mrs. Peterson and Mrs. Richter. At that point the kids were so much more directed into reading. My daughter looked forward to reading every night! The teachers were both loving and focused with the classroom to keep them in line. I felt as though they were caring for their own child to succeed. We’ve appreciated the strong foundation that the experience at Lamb of God has given our family. Many memories were made!
Thank you Lamb of God!

The Wright Family

Our son attended Lamb of God Preschool from age 2 until he completed Kindergarten.  We feel he received an excellent education, both academically and spiritually.  He was blessed with teachers who truly cared about him.  Lamb of God offered us a well rounded curriculum balanced with play that allowed our son to grow into a confident, capable child.  After completing Kindergarten at Lamb of God, he entered public school.   Because of the firm foundation he received at Lamb of God, he is reading well above his peers and has continued to thrive.  I am grateful he had the Lamb of God experience and hope that his brother will enjoy the same benefits.
